The Double Barrel is an innovative, soft-foam popper body that makes it easy to tie popper, slider, and diver flies for everything from panfish to sailfish. These durable foam heads are available in a range of colors and sizes.
The versatile foam head can be tied on with the cup facing forward to create popper flies, and can be tied on in reverse to create slider, diver, and Sneaky Pete style foam flies.
The molded eye socket allows you to glue in lifelike holographic eyes. For a different look, fill the eye socket with Solarez Fly Tie Color resin.
Start with the following guidelines for eye and hook sizes:
- Extra Small: #8 hooks and 3mm eyes
- Small: #6 hooks and 3mm eyes
- Medium: #2 hooks and 4mm eyes
- Large: #2/0 to #4/0 hooks and 6mm eyes
- Extra Large: #4/p to #6/0 hooks and 8.5mm eyes.
Quantity per pack: Extra-small, Small, Medium (8); Large (6); Extra-large (4).
